After doing the first quiz I suddenly realised I hadn't put Battle for the Sun on my PC yet! Shocking. I've now corrected that.

My elective was really good, got to deliver several babies - which was amazing. Also did a safari which was fantastic. It was for 4 days and we went to Ngorogoro Crater, Lake Manyara and the Serengeti. Saw a Leopard in a tree, and then it climbed down and walked in front of us. Also got amazing views of Cheetah and Lions. Didn't see a Rhino but I didn't mind that much. Surprisingly Tanzania is pretty cold in June/July in the early morning and evenings. And Ngorogoro Crater is always freezing - it's at 2,000 feet or something. I really want to go back sometime.  

Oh yeah the masquerade ball was lovely, I had a really good night.

Recently been thinking about the past a bit and realised I quite miss a friend I've drifted apart from but really don't know what to do about it. Awkward situation but I'll have to work something out.

I failed my OSCE and then my resit OSCE, so I'm having to resit third year. I was really lucky they didn't kick me out so I'm going to make a huge effort this year. At least I kind of know what to expect, though they've made some really random changes.

My first rotation is Brain and Mind, which is Neurology and Psychiatry. My least favourite rotation from last year so I guess it's good to get it over and done with first while I still have some motivation. I have paediatrics and obstetrics & gynaecology at the end of the year - and you have no choice but to put the effort in with those.

I'm going to Vienna in January! Woop. I'm going with Andy. We recently got back together. One airline was having a cheap european flight sale so we thought we'd have a look and decided on Vienna. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be rather freezing but I'm hoping for snow Been looking at things to do which is making me look forward to it even more.
